(Christmas Day 2004)

(The next morning, Bey woke up to MT pushes her…)

Bey: Huh?

MT: Get up Beyonce. Its Christmas. Where are Jr’s gifts?

Bey: *jumps up* I forgot to put them under the tree. Is he up?

MT: Yes, and he asking why Santa didn’t bring his presents.

Bey: Awww dang. Ok Im getting up.

MT: Where are his gifts? I’ll get them myself

Bey: Everything is in my closet. You cant carry all that stuff by yourself. Im getting up. Just please stall for an hour so I can shower.

MT: Alright, Im gone start breakfast and get everybody else up

Bey: Ok *she leaves* Baby get up. Jay *shoves his arm* Get up baby.

Jay: Hmmm what is it?

Bey: We forgot to put the gifts under the tree last night

Jay: *sits up* Awww shit. I know Jr mad

Bey: I know. Lets get up and shower and get this stuff down there. Mama’s gonna stall for an hour.

Jay: *wipes his eyes* ok. Do we have aspirin?

Bey: Yea, we all gone need it

(Bey and Jay get up and freshen up and take all the gifts downstairs. Everybody ate breakfast and then started opening gifts.)

Jr: Mommy Santa Cwause came to da houshe

Bey: *smiling* Yea he came and brought you some presents. You been a good boy.

(They help Jr open all his gifts and they take pictures and laugh and have a good time.)

Kelly: Yay Jr. Ok now where is the older people’s gifts? I know I better have something

Jay: *laughs* Chill Kells. Everybody got something.

Kelly: *laughs* ok im calm

(Bey and Jay pass out everyone’s gift. They are happy with what they got. Bey and Jay also got some stuff from them.)

Bey: Ok last gift *grabs gift* Solange this is yours

Solo: *texting Daniel* huh?

Bey: This is yours *hands her the gift*

Solo: Thank you *opens gift, it’s a dj turntable thingy* Omg. How did you know I wanted this?

Bey: I pay attention

Solo: Omg thank you *hugs her*

Jay: There is one more gift left to give.

Bey: Did I forget somebody?

Jay: No, this gift is for you

Bey: Baby you didn’t have to get me anything

Jay: Yes I did. Now sit down and let me present this epic gift to you *laughs*

Bey: *giggles* you so silly *sits*

Annie: What is it Shawn? You got us over here lookin crazy trying to figure out what you talkin bout

Jay: Shut up Annie….*stands in front up Bey* Now Beyonce, you know I love you with all my heart. I don’t want to lose you to any man or anything. *sighs* To make this simple *gets on his knee* you know how Im always saying you gone be my wife one day?

Bey: *shocked* Yes

Jay: Well I wanna make this official *pulls out box and opens it* will you be my wife? *it’s a big ass 2 million dollar diamond ring*

Bey: *starts crying* Omg Jay yes I’ll be your wife…*he slides the ring on her finger*

Jay: *stands up and pull her up and hugs her* I love you baby *kisses her*

MT: Awwww *wiping a tear away*

Kelly: *crying* My sisters gonna get married

Chelle: *crying on Kelly’s shoulder* This is so cute

Angie: About damn time you asked her. Congratulations!

Annie: What?! Not Shawn Carter getting married. I cant believe this. Im so proud of you. You really have changed *hugs Jay and Bey*

MG: *crying* Im so happy for yall

*Everybody gets up to give them a group hug and the doorbell rings*

Solo: I’ll get it…*goes to the door and opens it*

Daniel: You ready baby?

Solo: *sighs* No, but we have to do this.

Daniel: Its gone be ok *kisses her and grabs her hand* Come on

(Just as they were about to head to the living room to make their announcement, the doorbell rings again.)

Solo: Who the hell is this? Hold on baby *opens door * Daddyyyyyy *hugs him*

Mat: Hey baby girl.

Solo: We thought you weren’t gonna make it.

Mat: I would never miss a Christmas with my family. *looks up* And who is this?

Solo: *gets nervous* Um this is Daniel

Daniel: *shakes his hand* Hi Mr. Knowles

Mat: Hi Daniel *looks him up and down*….where is everyone else Solange?

Solo: In the living room

Mat: Ok *goes to the living room*

Solo: *in the kitchen with Daniel* Baby I changed my mind. Im not ready to tell them.

Daniel: Solange we talked about this

Solo: I know baby, but that was before my Dad showed up. He’s gonna flip!

Daniel: Solange look at me. No matter what happens today, I will always be here for you *cuffs her chin and kisses her passionately* I love you. Now calm down and lets get this over with. Im tired of this sneaking out stuff. We grown and shouldn't have to do that anymore.

Solo: You right baby, lets go.

Daniel: Wait *kisses her* I love you baby.

Solo: *smiles* Love you too.

Daniel: Ok now lets go *grabs her hand and they walk in the living room*

Bey: Daniel!

Jay: Daniel?!

MT: Daniel?

Daniel: Me and Solange have something to say

Mat: Ok, what is it?

Daniel: *his nerves are gone* The first thing is, as Bey and Jay already know, we are engaged to be married. Second thing is that we plan on getting married in February.

Bey: O_O *thinking: Oh shit Solange what are you doing? And why the fuck did he say we knew? Damn they gone kill us.*

Mat: What?! Engaged?

Daniel: Hold on Mr. Knowles. There’s more….Solange you want to tell them?

Solo: *scared as hell, looks at Bey, then looks at Daniel* Um Im um I…

Daniel: *too damn excited* She’s 4 months pregnant!!!

Mat: *faints*

MT: Oh Lord

Bey: Omg!!!

Jay: *whispers* Shit *out loud* Congrats man! This day is full of surprises *daps him up*

Daniel: Im so happy man I love this woman.

Bey: I can tell. Im happy too. *hugs them* You ok Solange?

Solo: I think so, but Daddy fainted. He’s gonna kill us when he comes to..

Bey: Don’t worry. Me and Jay wont let that happen. Just enjoy yourself. Its Christmas *hugs her again* Love you

Solo: Love you too Thu. You really happy for us?

Bey: Yea. This has been the best Christmas ever for me. I got engaged, yall finally gonna get married, and you announced that Im gonna have a lil neice or nephew. This is great!

Mat: *coming to* Solange! Daniel!....
